  • In a bowl, mix together sugar, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, water, and black pepper.
    • 1 tsp sugar (4 g)
    • 1 tbsp light soy sauce (15 g)
    • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce (15 g)
    • 1 tbsp water (15 g)
    • ½ tsp black pepper (1 g)ground
  • Add oil to a pan over medium heat, then add the yellow onions. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes, or until they become soft and translucent.
    • ½ yellow onion (150 g)sliced
  • Add the thinly sliced beef to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute, or until it is half cooked through.
    • 0.5 lb beef (225 g)thinly sliced
  • Clear the center of the pan and add the rice to the middle. Top the rice with corn, green onions, butter, and the prepared sauce.
    • 2 cup white rice (300 g)cooked
      (can substitute with any rice)
    • ¼ cup sweet corn (30 g)
    • 2 stalk green onion (30 g)chopped
    • 1 tbsp unsalted butter (14 g)
  • Toss the ingredients together until evenly combined. Sauté for another 1-2 minutes, or until the rice and beef have crisped to your liking. Serve and enjoy!
